Ontario Bayonet?

I noticed this bayonet made by Ontario is using what they call "diamond steel". Can anyone tell what that is exactly, and if anybody has the knife I'd interested to hear what you thought about it.

Thanks for the info Mark. I'm seriously thinking about picking one up now. I just wish they made a version without all the USMC stuff on it. It's good to see that the USMC are getting what seems to be a high quality tool though.
