Good looking knife with the Arrow spear point.. which had been regulated to a light duty cutter, as it had a flaw in its lock design that allows vertical play, or over extension of the blade. Pretty much reason it's Arrow design was discontinued or redesigned into the standard Dozier.
Nice collector as a discontinued model. Nice to look at & feel. Not much else.
I don't know what knife you refer to, but the Ontario Arrow is in production and is a standard liner lock with no flaws in either design or execution.
Per Quiet's comment, I own one and the lack of full steel liners is agood thing since it makes a light well balanced knife. It is plenty strong. It easily passed my standard test of removing the back out of a chicken.
There is athread in the Ontario sub forum on it. At ~$55 shipped, it's a great deal too for a G10 handled Taiwan D2 blade. If you like daggers that can double as a utility blade, the only thing better is a Mel Pardue Benchmade 530 at twice the price. Got one of those tooGreat knives that don't cost as much as some.
Ah, yes the late ka bar thorn.Good looking knife with the Arrow spear point.. which had been regulated to a light duty cutter, as it had a flaw in its lock design that allows vertical play, or over extension of the blade.....
I had one and returned it. The liners flexed too much for me. I also had an issue with the lack of a stop pin. Very weak construction. Its too bad, the knife looked great.

It has an interior stop sysrem like a flipper, used successfully in many hard use knives. In my experience, about 4 months now, the slight flex in the G10 handles does not affect the function of the knife. Remember, it's only $55 delivered with G10 and D2(...)
Looks like it would be nice to carry when I am bored with my BM 531 but still want something light. How does the D2 hold up?
531 is a superb knife in my book,530 is good but I dont like plastic handle and dagger blade, its not bad cutter, but ffg would be better.
