First let me say that the Retribution folders are VERY good knives for the price point at $130 and $160. These are made by Fox Italy from the same N690 and green micarta that the Spyderco/Hossom were made from. The liners are thick as hell and lock very securely. The blade is nice for a recurve. Most of all, the thumb rectangle was situated perfectly for waving. The negatives, though, are the handles. The micarta is not flat and actually swells dramatically in the palm. Also, there are no holes for a pocket clip. I just waved the larger one this morning after getting some new belts. The smaller one has been waved for some time. My wife loves the way it looks, the small one will be hers. All that needs to be done now is to send them off to my favorite Florida knifemaker and have Emerson style black G10 slabs put on and clips mounted for L/R tip up carry.

My wife came up with the idea to have our names engraved on the scales. If our pair of first production run MT UT6's were our engagement(ring) knives, then these would be our "wedding(band)" knives.

Very nice indeed. Those wave look like they'd come from the factory. Heck, they look even better than my Endua 4 wave.

They just went out today. Reese said shouldn't be too much work. Now the wait begins :(

:D if you'd quite lookin' at the pics then you might not miss them so much ;)

Both waves look good , but how are the ergos, does the grip get crowded?

Ergos are great besides the thick-ass handle slabs. I love the pinky hook. They fit both of our hands just right, a little room to spare. The pocket clip will be on the presentation side on both knives to enable a forward wave draw into edge out ice pick grip. The wife likes the wave too.

Okay thanks for the clarification, just checking to make sure the handle wasn't too cramped
