Not sure of the model of this Benchmark but I know it's one of the early ones, well before Gerber. I think this one is called the Viper.
It measures just under 4" closed with a roughly 2 5/8" blade. No etch on the blade, tang stamp reads "Pat D" and "AD 383". Shield says "Benchmark Knives USA". I have the original box but that's about it.
Scales appear to be Cocobolo. Action is smooth and lock-up is tight. Appears to have been lightly carried and lightly sharpened (did not change blade profile).
As a bonus I will throw in NIB a CRKT smoke scaled version.

This is one massive folder with very thick liners and a bank vault lock-up. I carried it for a day and used it to cut up a couple of small pieces of carpet.
I was fooling around with making a sheath for it that I had planned to refine once I get my shop up and running. I'll include it with the package. It's not as finished as I like to make my sheaths but it's very function with a quick draw. The outside is thick Kydex with 11 oz black Latigo leather for the back and loop. To draw the knife just slide it down and back.
There is a slight rub mark on the scale of the knife from the Kydex. Also includes factory package and sheath.
