Sure I did, but still... It would be nice to know how thick is the blade and the liner, is there a pocket clip included or this was meant to be a "seathed folder" how is the HRC hardness of the blade, etc...

Maybe I'm spolied by Spyderco and Benchmade, but let's be reasonable; if I'm interested in a knife, I have to know all possible datas before I make my decision, because there is a whole Ocean between me and my potential EDCs.

Redguy, you're right - it's a beautiful knife. I think it's a great semi-custom folder...
(But why don't you ask somebody about this knife in the knife thread at survival.hu? ;) )

I have seen better pics of these on another forum. The liner are a very thick .125 titanium. The handles are scuplted and look very comfortable. There is no pocket clip on these. Sheath only. The prototypes were S30V. I believe the production models are N690CO. They are made in Italy. The steel is similar to VG-10.

N690Co
C: 1.07%
Cr: 17.00%
Co: 1.50%
Mn: 0.40%
Mo: 1.10%
Si: 0.40%
V: 0.10%

VG-10
C: 0.95-1.05%
Cr: 14.50-15.50%
Co: 1.30-1.50%
Mn: 0.50%
Mo: 0.90-1.20%
Si: 0.60%
V: 0.10-0.30%

Blade thickness on the II is .160" and on the I it is .200". Both have the .125" ti liners.

Finally somebody made handle just the way I like!
Does anybody see Retribution One?

Tanks, Vassili.

I had read somewhere that titanium liner locks tend to gall on steel blades and that it is better to use steel liners for locking purposes. Is that still considered to be true?

If I read it correctly, the Retribution II, with the 3 7/8th's inch blade is the medium sized one. The small will have a 3.5" blade, and the large is a 5.0" blade.

If these had pocket clips I would be all over it. Not big on sheath carry for folders though.

I have the Retribution II, I'll post some Pic's when I get some time to take 'em. It's a big knife has a really beefy liner lock, seems more like a replacement for a fixed blade than an EDC knife.

I like it......I think its a good lookin knife I cant wait till one hits passaround or someting.

Here are some pics of the Retribution II with a 710 and a Manix.
