Well, now that you raised that subject - the handle looked a little off to me...a little rounder, a little more KaBar-ish, than what I've seen in Ontario images. Of course, that is based entirely on images, as I have never seen/handled an Ontario kukri; so that thought could be without merit.
I'd like to think that KC wouldn't use generic, (inaccurate,) internet supplied images for their website; so I wouldn't be overly concerned about it not saying Ontario on it. It also wouldn't be unheard of for an Ontario to have uneven grinds; but without images, it's difficult to say if what you received is within "acceptable" parameters. Replacing? If it's a fake, yeah, you're SOL...unless it was a good seller and it was unintentional. If it's a factory defect, though, there should be no issue with replacement. We're pretty much officially on the weekend, now, so give it a few days...if the Ontario rep doesn't comment, you could try contacting him.
Did you buy it on the 'Bay or river site; or from a reliable source (which is not to say that there are not reliable sources on those sites). Knowing where you got it could help dispel or strengthen the concern about whether it's legit.
