im thinkin bout gettin an ontario mark 3 knife but i can only get general infe on it.. anyone have any personal experience using it?

ah, the official US Navy SEAL knife.
lot's of koolness factor here.
so it would be nice for a static collection,
but imo, there are better designed knives out there like the Gerber LMF II for actual use.
and the same goes for the latest version of Ontario Knives (OK) non-leather handle US pilot's survival knife, i assume one would be "paying OK" the privillage of owning something that's currently military issue...

It's a six inch Utility knife made with 440A. I have handled them, it is straight mil-spec, nothing fancy about it at all.

The current one has a slightly different, stronger tip where the originals were nothing but an AK47 bayonet with very weak points. Not much of a recommendation.
