I bought a Mark III U.S. Navy Knife recently at Packwood flea market, and it didn't have a sheath with it. Does anyone know of a place to get a tactical style sheath that is MOLLE compatible for this knife? Blade dimensions are about 6" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1/4" Thick OAL about 11".

I have a MK3 from years ago. Decent knife, but the only thing you had to be careful of was snapping off that long tip. Looks wicked, but there's a trade-off.

The standard sheath was no work of art, but it functioned well and retained the knife whether or not it was snapped. I haven't found a source for an original sheath, but a custom kydex shouldn't be too hard.

Don't quote me, but I believe the original was made by Ontario. Link. You may want to give them a call and see if they can source a replacement. I haven't looked at my MK 3 in a while; I may have to pull it out and see what markings are on the sheath.

Spec Ops Brand makes excellent Cordura MOLLE sheaths, also, you can source original Ontario Sheaths - including the RAT models which have a MOLLE back - The RAT 7 sheath will work for that length - just run a google search, I don't want to get pegged for deal spotting.
