Won this on ebay on a b.s. bid, or so I thought. Anybody know anything about the knife? Did a search but it is down so no luck. It is big as for dimensions I will say that much. Can't find out much about it really other than I remember people being stoked when they first came out a few years back. Any and all info is appreciated. keepem sharp

I liked mine, it was the same model but in the grey finish. Fit and finish were pretty good. The knife balance and function were off the chart though, Mr. Bagwell really knows his fighting bowie design. If you got a the knife for a good price I think you'll be happy.

Thanks bro. This is the biggest knife of the bunch and n.i.b. and for less than 100 skins. I have seen them go for big bucks on ebay hence my b.s. bid type of thing. keepem sharp

No Worries :)

I think the Hell's Belle is a little longer than the Fortress but I may be mistaken.

Let us know when it arrives.

BTW, less than 100 bones is a GOOD price :D :D :D

Fortress is the biggest of them all. Also I belive there is a difference between the regular Ontario Bagwell bowies and the Master series. At least I have been told but I could be off base on this point. The one I bought has a highly polished blade, 10.75" long with a total length of about 16" a tad more or less maybe. I also belive the fella I bought it from said the blade was slightly offset whatever that means. He assured me it is supposed to be that way. Looking forward to checking it out. Hey I can always sell it I figure for what I have into it. Thanks and keepem sharp

All the Ontario Bagwells are part of the Master series. The Hell's Belle is the longest with an 11" blade, the Fortress and Midnight both have 10.5" blades, and the Gambler has a 9.5" blade. The Fortress and Midnight are actually Hell's Belles as well (trapping guard, Spanish notch), Ontario just differentiated the names (Bill Bagwell's customs range from 10.5" on up ,according to the customers size and attributes). The Ontario Hell's Belle will be highly polished (first editions) or satin finished blades. The Fortress has a grey coated blade and the Midnight a black coated one. Gamblers are satin finished with an oval guard. Sounds to me like you got a Hells Belle in a Fortress box - great price though. Now you need a Southern Comfort for it. :)
