Ontario Old Hickory Chef's Knife?

Hey all.

While visiting my parents over the holidays, I noticed an Old Hickory brand chef's knife in the knife drawer. It's been around since I was a kid, but I never really noticed it before. Now, I've modded several Old Hickory knives in the past few years, but I've never run across a chef's knife before, except the one in my parents' drawer. Now, I can't find one anywhere. When did Ontario make a chef's knife, and where can I get one? I'd love to have one for the kitchen block.

Thanks,

Frosty

ETA: I put this in Traditional because these knives have been around for so long. Mods, feel free to move this to Kitchen Cutlery if it would be more appropriate.

I've looked all around and never saw a Chef's knife from Old Hickory either. I own a set, and would like to add the chef knife as well. Yet, I've been wondering, why do Old Hickory knives have walnut handles? I guess hickory would be more expensive?

I have one.....the blade is about 8 inches long. I use it all the time. :)

Here is a stock pic of one.

I got it off a popular auction site a while back. :)
