Ontario Old Hickory Chef's Knife?

Hey all.

While visiting my parents over the holidays, I noticed an Old Hickory brand chef's knife in the knife drawer. It's been around since I was a kid, but I never really noticed it before. Now, I've modded several Old Hickory knives in the past few years, but I've never run across a chef's knife before, except the one in my parents' drawer. Now, I can't find one anywhere. When did Ontario make a chef's knife, and where can I get one? I'd love to have one for the kitchen block.

I've looked all around and never saw a Chef's knife from Old Hickory either. I own a set, and would like to add the chef knife as well. Yet, I've been wondering, why do Old Hickory knives have walnut handles? I guess hickory would be more expensive?

I have one.....the blade is about 8 inches long. I use it all the time.

I got it off a popular auction site a while back.

Oh...apparently it's called a "French Cook's knife" but it's discontinued. Still like to find one, though.
