Ontario Ranger knives

I am looking into purchasing either a rd4 or a afghan fixed blade(or both). Has anybody have either one of these, and if so how would you rate them. Any replies will be appreciated.
 
I haven't handled any of the Rangers built by Ontario but I do have a Ranger RD-6. I got it recently and haven't had any time to use it but based on my first impressions and input by other knife nuts I'm convinced it will serve me well. It's pretty thick and I may end up reprofiling it later but I gotta get out and use it before I decide. Sorry thats not much help but someone should come along soon. I believe the Ontario Rangers are pretty new so I'm not sure how many people have had a chance to test em out yet. What do you intend on using it for?
 
I tried emailing Justin from Ranger earlier tonight about where to buy Ontario-produced Ranger's and the email got returned to me. I did see a Ranger RD-4 for sale, but I can't remember where as I was looking for a RD-6 or RD-7. Ontario doesn't mention anything on their website, btw.

Looks like knifecenter is going to have them. The other place I saw them was chestnut ridge knife shop. Looks like they have photos and prices, but none in stock as of yet.

My tax return should be here soon .....
