hey guys....anyone have any of the ranger rd knives?.....anyone habe the rd hawk?.....i posted in the axe forum but got no responses......maybe if i can get an idea of the regular rd series i'll get an idea of how the hawk is finished....ryan
 
I have three of the RD series; RD-4, RD-7, RD-9. All came with good fit and finish and the edge bevels are excellent from the factory. These are all constructed from 1/4" 5160 carbon steel. I am thinking about picking up some kydex shaeths for them, though the ones they come with are just fine. I have also been eyeing the Hawk and I posted on the Hawk forum here but didn't get much response, as I guess they may br too new for them to be in many hands. From what I've seen of the RD series, I would not hesitate to order the Hawk.:thumbup::D
