Which of these is the superior knife? I am not looking for a recommendation for any other knives, I'm just curious which of these would be best for edc.

Thankyou!

I vote RAT-1, its a little on the big side and I actually prefer the RAT-2 for EDC myself, the Zancudo is identical in build quality to the RAT since they are made by the same people, the frame lock just doesnt speak to me like the liner locks on the RAT's do.
The SOG is a fair knife for EDC, though the quality can be spotty at times and its the least reliable knife listed, I have an older one and like it for dirty jobs, but the action is finiky and requires frequent tuning.

Size wise, the Rat 1 is more comparable to the ESEE Avispa, and the Rat 2 is more comparable to the Zancudo. The Rats and ESEE's will be very similar in build quality and performance - which are both excellent in this price range -- these are truly great knives!

After owning and handling SOGs, they just don't do it for me. And the assisted opening is really no faster than a Rat 1 -- the Rat is soooo smooth and fast to flick open, and without the spring pressure of the assisted open, it is much easier to close one-handed.

Thanks guys I appreciate it! I'll stay away from SOG, and get the rat 1. Thanks!

Yup, either the RAT 1 or The Esee Avispa. I would choose the Avispa. I prefer the frame lock and blade shape. I have a Zancudo at it is a great little knife. I imagine the Avispa to be the same but larger.

The RAT 1 is a wonderful knife, I'd pick it over the Flash II any day. I carried a Flash II for a couple years as an EDC and it performs quite well for lightweight use, but the build quality just isn't nearly as solid as the RAT. The only things the SOG has that the RAT doesn't is a deep-carry pocket clip and a lighter weight. I can't speak for the Zancudo as I've never had one

I like the RAT-1 over the Avispa. I'd probably put the Flash II in the middle. The RAT-1 is just an overall well built and solid knife. The Flash II carries pretty comfortably for a knife that size, is lightweight, and perfectly serviceable. The handles are liner-less FRN, so it will have more flex than ones with full steel liners. I like the blade shape on the Avispa, but the thinness of the framelock scale just isn't especially comfortable in hand for me.
