Just ordered a rat 1 from blade hq.
How good are they with prices shipping etc.?

I felt the rat 1, didn't know how I felt about them cuz I didn't have much time with them but I ordered it anyway. Am I making a mistake.

Welcome but, I don't understand your question.

If you already ordered one, don't you already know how they are with prices and shipping?
 
I meant, are there cheaper places to order knives aside from Amazon.
They seem ok but I didn't care to shop around.

Well I don't know man, they are an authorized dealer and Amazon currently is not. Either way, they have extremely low prices and even sale prices most of the time (in addition to the discounts they already offer).

It is unlikely you'll find them somewhere for a much lower price, unless you find a crazy deal on some auction site.

Simply follow the links at the top to "The Exchange" and you'll find the list of BF Dealers. All have good prices and shipping, usually the best online.
 
I have the Rat1 and for the $, it's a crazy good deal. Great weight and ergos and the steel is fine. I use it as my beater / work knife.
 
I have both the 1 and 2. Great carry and use knives that you won't be afraid to get dirty or lose. Both mine see regular rotation.
 
The Ontario RAT knives are simply the best knives on the planet for the price if you're looking for a one hand opener. You will not regret it although I would've bought it somewhere with lower shipping costs personally, but Blade HQ is a fantastic company.
