I was wondering if anyone has this knife. I justed won one on Ebay brand new satin PE for $50. Anyone have any impressions or used this knife? Once I get it I will post back here for my first impressions. Thanks.
:D :D

I have a Rat-3 and a Rat-7, but never heard of this one until I just googled it. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

best regards

Well, I received it today. all I can say it impressed me alot. Now it does not compare to the higher end BM or Spyderco. It still is a very nice blade and reminds me alot of the Timbeline Wordan except with a satin finish. Its' weight is fair enought to know you are carrying but not enough to weigh you down. The four position clip is something you see on more expensive knives but is nice. The zytel handles are a little too smooth but are still aggresive enough to provide a good grip. The liners are rather thick compared to the blade and lock up solid and at the the very edge of the blade, it has penty of room to wear. The blade is nice and wide with a flat ground blade it has a nice ramp for control on the spine it is aggressive but not to the point of being painful. AUS-8 is not the latest steel but it will sharpen easy and takes a wicked edge. :D the blade is flat and wide making cutting and slicing a breeze it came hair popping sharp. For a $50 knife you cannot go wrong with this blade. Thank you.:D :D

I have one. It is a great knife. The only thing I don't like is the smooth opening stud. I wish it was knurled.

Thanks for the quick review. I own a couple of RAT-7's and an RTAK-3 and like the Randall line from Ontario. Let us know how your new folder performs.

I have worn mine for about a month now. So far I am really impressed :) The blade holds it's edge well and the fit and finish is excellent. I also like the tight detent which keeps the blade closed til I decide to open it. I hate reaching into a pocket with an unexpectedly opened blade:(

I played with it after i got home from work and I must say the fit and finish are better than at first glance. The linerlock locks up just perfect with no blade play in any direction and thanks to PB washers it opens silky smooth. I know I am realy going to enjoy this knife. It is larger than it appears if that makes sense I think it is the wide flat ground blade. It kinda reminds me of the Manix. It seems larger than it is. Thanks for letting me post about this knife and I hope to have more info to come.:D
