Ontario Rat 2 Scales!

Hey guys, i posted a thread in the knifemakers forum about making new scales out of micarta for my rat 2. I am proud to say I have finished them and I am in love! Surprisingly it was pretty easy to replace the scales, a lot easier than when i tried to make scales for my last fixed blade. The only problems i ran into was countersinking the pivot and shaping the pocket screw hole area. Both of the times i drilled/sanded too deep so i just used pieces of a plastic yogurt lid to make a kind of buffer

In the end the lockup is solid and believe it or not the blade centering is actually better than with the stock scales! Thank you for anyone who helped with my post asking for tips
