Need a good knife for camping... considering ontario rat-3 or bark river woodland... any one with either or both of these knives can you please provide your impressions, suggestions? thanks :)

I have a woodland with green micarta handles. It is a great little knife. The convex blade is a great cutter. The size is perfect for hiking and light camp chores.
The A2 has held its edge nicely through regular outdoor use, however I am sure some of the "expert" knife testers around here will weight in with all of the crucial information regarding the between A2 and D2 (or 1095).

Two great knives, you can't go wrong with either, but, just to be a bit different, have you considered a Svord drop point. These puppies are crafted in New Zealand and simply ooze character as well as fantastic functionality. I much prefer the economy range and note that the wood handles are much better than the pics. on the website suggest.
