Ontario Rat I : washer problem ?

Hello,
I'm new here. So, I'm Brian and pretty new in knives word too but I love it !
I bought a Ontario Rat I (i'm in Europe).

I saw a strange things to me because it seem than the washers mounitng is not the same on both sides of the blade.
On one side I can clearly see the bronze washer + teflon washer. But on the other side of the blade I just a big fat teflon washer.
That is normal ?

I had my answer from Ontario directely and I share with you :


Because they were made with two different styled washers in the last year. One is Teflon and the other is a brass washer. We’ve had a lot of complaints about the switch so we’ve had them changed back to the other way of making them.
We’ve had complaints about the Teflon and brass washer together. So they are in the process of being switched back to both brass washers.
