I'm having a hard time finding information on this folder. Does anyone know the weight? Any reviews?

I don't know exactly what the weight is, I have one and its a great folder strong lockup, easy/fast opening. Easy to sharpen and holds a great edge. You might try searching the forum, I know someone has done a review, I just don't know where.

It's a tough search. Rat, 1, folder are all too common words to find without a lot of "noise". I don't know the weight, but I have come across posts that were happy with it as a good working knife.

it is a very good working knife. the only thing i did not like is the g-10 is very slick.

I like mine a lot, very well made and solid!

Smooth as glass to open and locks up tight.

They have been discontinued, but can still be found fairly easy.

(It's not your eyes, I am left-handed, so the pocket clip and thumb stud are reversed for me) :D

What the others have said. It is a solid working knife with a tight lock up. I have it on the scale at 5.07 oz. For comparison, my Buck 110 is 7.70 oz.

I have the black plain edge (just like the one above). My only complaint is that the part where the blade meets the stop pin (immediately behind the pivot) is coated. Because of this, when chopping the coating was worn away and now I have lateral blade play. I've corrected it with some precisely applied paint but its still a PITA. Other than that it's a really great blade. Well constructed, ergonomic handles too. I think it could've/should've been a framelock but that's just me.

maybe disontinued but RAT Cutlery is working on a similiar knife but USA made vs Tawain, I think the RAT1 is....but the RAt 1 is still available on certain blade web pages..

Cool, I'll look around for one, I knew these Taiwan ones were discon., but ad not heard of a USA made RAT Cutlery one.

One thing I meant to mention earlier, for such a large folder, these are very slim and pocket friendly.

I will add that I, and others, find the opening thumb stud to be a bit uncomfortable. I hope RAT keeps this in mind when the put together a new USA design.
