Ontario RBS9 - Defective sheath

I just ordered a RBS9 knife and I'm very please with the blade. However, the sheath that came with it is flat out defective. The storage pouch's plastic buckle is cracked and about to break. Also the molle strap's metal snap is crushed and deformed and won't snap back.

I emailed Ontario about this but no response. Is there another means of getting it replaced? I'm in Canada btw.

Most retailers allow for product return within certain time. You may go this route if not too late.
 
Give 'em some time, then follow up with another email or phone call. If the knife itself is good, only get the sheath exchanged. They'll send replacement sheaths, I've heard. You don't want to send back the whole thing only to get a defective knife next time.

Sorry to hear about your sheath. Of course we'll replace that. Can you let me know when you emailed us? I'll have the customer service team look for it. If they can't find it or aren't already working on it, we'll make sure it gets handled.
 
I went ahead and repaired the sheath on my own using bits and pieces from a back pack. I'm the kind of person who can't leave something broken for very long without fixing it.

Any chance that I can get a spare sheath though for my troubles?
