I've been looking at these two models lately. Thinking of one as a beater/car trunk/BoB knife. Any experience with any of these here? I'm also considering the Becker line, but like the fact that there's a medium sized blade available from Ontario with the Rd-6. Besides the fact that Rd's have micarta handles.

Give me some feedback if you have one? Good value? Robust?

Pictures would also be appreciated.

Thank you.
:D

I hav a Rat cutker rc6 and a Becker bk7 the becker is about 1/2 inch loner in the blade than the RC...both are great knives..for a truck knife the becker bk7 or companion would bethe way to go asthey can b had for about 40-50 dollars cheaper than the Rats.. But I loemy RC-6....That being said..my becker has been my heacy use survival bkade for a while.

You got that in a trunk of a car in NYC? Nice. Bklyn boy here. ;)

Currently have a Cold Steel Bushman and a 14" Fiskars hatchet in the trunk of mine... but figured a value-oriented upgrade (max $50 pre-owned) wouldn't be a bad idea.

Thanks
