Ontario Retribution II washers?

I just received a new Ontario Hossom Retribution II in the mail today, I already had one but my son talked me out of it so I bought another. The first one I bought along with the Retribution I when they first came out. The one I received today has a different and I would say better sheath as you can wear it vertically and horizontally. I also noticed that instead of two Teflon washers this one has a bronze washer on the liner-lock side and Teflon on the other. Does anyone else out there have two different types of washers in their Retribution 2? I’ve never seen that before.

Ayone here own the Retribution II? Could you check to see if you have 2 Teflon washers or 1 bronze (liner lock side) and 1 Teflon.

OK, thinking back, I did MOD mine to tighten the detente, so it's POSSIBLE that I changed out the washers, but I don't think so.
 
Where does one find replacement bronze washers? You have to get the right size.

I would still love to know if anyone bought a Retribution 2 recently and if it has one bronze washer.
 
When you tinker with knives for years, you accumulate stuff! But, what's the problem with nylon? It'll last forever too.
 
It’s not a problem, I just found it strange that the Retribution I & II that I bought over a year ago both have Teflon washers and the Retribution II that I just bought last week has 1 bronze and 1 Teflon. You know how crazy us knife guys can be, it makes me wonder if maybe it was done by someone other than the factory even though it is in perfect condition , packed just like new and bought from a very good online store. I love both the Retribution I and II as they are built like tanks, have wonderful handles and even after a lot of use and getting them dirty they have held up fantastic. I can’t believe that Jerry Hossom didn’t get a lot more press on these great folders.

As far as wondering where you can get the bronze washers, I often thought about replacing the Teflon washers with bronze to see if it made a difference on some of my other knives. It’s my understanding that Jerry Hossom designed the Retributions with Teflon washers so I would leave these alone. That’s another reason why I’m wondering why my new Ret 2 has 1 bronze washer. I do like the new sheath they made for it.
