I have a Retribution 1 I've been carrying for about 4 weeks now and am absolutely loving it! I had to do some minor work to add a pocket clip for pocket carry, but once you get those micarta handles sanded down to about 3/16th's of an inch it do help to slim it a bit. I'm really blown away over the price of this knife vs. what you get. I've had 2 of the 1's and one of the II's, if that makes sense, and all three had absolute great fit of everything from the blade being completely centered in the blade channel, lockup being right on spot with no blade wiggle, ergonomics of the handle to your hand (and even when I slimed it down the ergos are still there to great degree), blade grinds being even from front to end, and the handle slabs being precisely fitted with no gaps at all. I have seen some knives costing much more than this one that don't bring anymore to the table than the Retributions do.

So, what'll be? Anyone have one and what do you think......good and bad, as I want to hear all points!:)

I have an R-II and it is one of the very few knives I have that came without a manufacturing defect or fault. It locks up tight, the blade came sharp and centered when closed and it certainly feels strong in the hand. The grips may or may not suit everyone's taste. Personally, I like the way they feel. Several folks have modified the grips to suit themselves.

cutter17, How did you sand the handles? I would like to do this modification but am not great at tools and such. Would you please describe the process? Thanks.
