Ontario SP6 knife sheath (real vs synthetic leather?)

it is real leather on the back and nylon on the front. i have it and it's a great knife.
 
The Ontario Spec-Plus line is a GREAT line of knives at a reasonable price. If you get it & like it, get a custom sheath for it eventually. They ROCK !!!
 
I just asked because I don't buy leather products. I will look at the ontario sp 50 gen 2 or bk9 instead which have nylon sheaths.
