Would any SP8 (survival machete) owners let me know the width of the blade?...not thickness...trying to know if one will fit into spec ops combat master sheath width wise.
Understand the overall blade is a bit long, but think I can reposition the retention strap if needed, and from what I've read, the sharpened portion is 8 inches...so was just wondering if it will fit width wise. I have an extra spec ops 8 inch sheath, and if it will fit, seeems like a good combination.
Also, has anyone tried the spec plus 50 or 51 in an 8 inch spec ops sheath?...specs say blade length is like 8 & 7/8th, but was wondering is anyone had tried it for fit.
So basicly, I'm asking if an SP8 is too wide to fit into Spec-Ops Combat Master sheath, and is the SP 51 is a bit too long to fit the same sheath, from anyone who has actually tried to fit either.
Any input on either model is welcome.
