I wanted something to help build Turkey blinds and such, and settled on the Ontario SP8. For the price, size, and quality, I just did not see a better choice for what I needed. Only downside...the factory sheath. Ok for storing a blade I guess, but I would not trust it after a few rainy trips not to give out around the rivets, and allow the blade to try to kill me.

And thanks to KnifeMaker / Craftsman / Service Provider / Member "gunfixrjoe"...I am all set.

I was totally unaware of Joe's work...I put up a "I need a sheath" post, and he responded.
I specifically wanted a very simple sheath...there are pics of some of his stuff on the forum...seriously ninja kydex gear.
Can not say enough good about Joe...awesome kydex skills, and a good guy. Highly recommended.

Now to the gear....
I wanted and got taco style, but he also made up a couple pancake style and sent pics, I'll put at the bottom.
I had a thought about the pancake style...an AR15 buttstock mag pouch would fit these sheaths perfectly,(SpecOps has them on clearance for 9.95), and hold a lot of WS items...just a thought.

I just got home and read gunfixrjoe's email. The sheath is 3 5/8 inches wide. It is a doozy!

The pics arent showing up for me. I know this is a longshot but could the creator of this kydex sheath email me a pic of the taco style sheath and a price. I really want one for my sp8. Thanks! I tried to pm but I guess im too new of a member.

Hello Bushcraft,
