Ontario Spec Plus tang pics?

I have an old Ontario SP8 machete and a ton of 550 cord.
Considering the cord wrap handle for this guy but don't want to tear off the Kraton until I know what the tang looks like first.

Searching google did not turn up any pics of exposed tangs. Anyone have a pic or know if this will work?

It is probably very similar to this one(Trailmaster).

Thanks for the pics! Seems there are no pics online of the SP8 handle with the Kraton removed.

I'm also wondering what the new Gen II models look like with the handle removed, I just got a SP52 and have always liked the cord wrap.
