Anyone EDC these? They are in my rotation. Nothing has kicked them out of the rotation to date, excellent knives.

Solid. never had any issues. FKMD's (Fox) execution of the Walker lock is flawless as far as i know on this series of knives.
I pay alot of attention to ergos and for me the handle pattern (similar to ZT 0200 and 0100) is optimal because any way you grip it it's secure. The aluminum slabs work fine with the exception of the finish on the XM-2 which was rather slippery i worked on this problem for 3 years, lol but got it beat now with a combination of mods. The knock on the XM-1 is it's too blocky (approx. 19mm thick altogether) but with big hands it's actually a perfect handful. Lockup is tight on my 1 but i haven't abused it ...YET, lol. The 2 had some horizontal and vertical issues from the start but i modded the pivot (PB washers + Loctite) and bent the lockbar (took 3 tries to get it right, full disassembly each time, sheesh) but it is rock solid now and i have seriously de-snotted this knife haha. Use them all over the place, at work etc. chemicals dont phase them. The N690co has finally gotten some recognition as a top-tier steel, (i was N690Co before N690Co was cool ;)). Love em.

Thanks for the short review. I like a fat handle myself since I have long fingers. Anorexic handles are sort of a pet peeve of mine. I suppose people with dainty hands would not like the XM. I beg to differ, however.

I bought an XM 1 after my friend showed me his. It was issued to him during his first deployment to Iraq. It was his edc while he was there and used it for everything. The coating showed wear and tear , but other than that the lockup is still solid.
I have small hands, but I like the thick frame.

Cool knife I like the handle. I thought the thin liner lock would be an issue also but if you look at the thickness of the cutouts on most frame locks you'd find that the liner is just as thick.

I didn't know that.

I never paid attention to the liner thickness, i figured wtf / have faith / this knife is obviously designed by excellent knife makers and they wouldn't leave something like that as a weak link in this brute of a blade.
