My friend carried one while serving in Iraq and sill carries it.
It was issued to him as part of a trial either before he was deployed or after he reached the middle east. His knife has the govt serial number on it.
It's an excellent knife , opens easy, a little thicker than it appears in pictures. The black finish has held up pretty well on the handle. It's made in Italy by Fox ( I think Fox). It locks up solid and I believe it has nylon washers at the pivot.
My friend promised to buy me one the next time he's at the PX in West Point.

I wanted one, until I got a chance to actually hold one. Built like a tank, but one chunky son of a gun!!
