Cheers

I've come close a few times to buying one. They are chunky through the handle, but seem like a solid heavy duty folder.

I owned an XM-1 and ended up selling it because...well how should I put this...the grip is RIDICULOUSLY fat. I seriously couldn't get over it, especially since it doesn't have a gigantic blade.

After I sold it I intended to try an XM-2 because the scale thickness looks so much more manageable however I never ended up getting one. With that said, I was happy with the overall quality as I usually am with Ontario. I think an XM-2 should be the one you get, IMO.

I'll second this. The quality was very high on the one I had, the only thing that kept me from keeping it was the thickness of the handle. I ended up giving it away here.

Go with the XM-2 and I think you'll be much happier.

I have the XM-2T -- the thin version -- and like it very much. It's "thin" only relative to the original. Compared to other folders, the handle is still pretty substantial -- which means (I think) that the XM-1 has to be tree trunk-thick. But quality-wise, my knife seems top-notch, and I'm generally fond of the N690Co, which I also have in the Retribution 2.

Does the handle size make any difference if you have "big mitts" I don't mind "larger" handles. Are we talking Strider AR large?

Kim Kardashian on the cover of Maxim = Adamas

Kim Kardashian on the cover of the National Enquirer = XM-1

It's just unnecessarily jumbo sized IMO, regardless of any 'normal' hand size (say up to XL).
