ooooh,the new busse is much more expensive than ever

It doesn't seem bad to me. Those prices are actually less than what I was prepared to pay since they totally redesigned that knife and gave the users more options to have them built the way they wanted.

Not sure which Busse you are talking of, but I don't think they are all that high compared to others. I only have 3 on order right now that I can think of, and they are all under what I had expected to pay for a knife of thier quality.

ONLY have a Steel Heart?!?! Boo Hoo Hoo, I only have the best of the best, boo hoo hoo.... The SHE should be the only knife you will ever need! It's all INFI baby, and the SHE is IMO the best of the best.... quit yer whinin'!

I would like to see the newer Busse designs come out, but then again, I was facing the same dilemma a couple years ago....

Compared to the competition - Strider, CRK - Busse is certainly not expensive, in fact they're VERY reasonably priced considering what you get.

You could easily spend $1500 on a custom fixed blade and wind up with less knife than a Busse, from a purely functional perspective.

Now, since apparently the wait for a new "Fusion" Busse is somewhere between "Snowballs in Hell" and "Eternity", it's probably a good thing Busse's are such a great value.
 
I'm not in the market for a knife at the moment, but I try to keep up on "what's out there". While glancing through these threads, I google images of knives I've not heard of. That flying tiger busse looks like the end-all of "Don't phuck with me" knives. Wow! I might have to save a few extra pennies up.

La Chine,if you find the Busse line too expensive,you should look at Swamp Rat knives.
