After getting and using my TGLB some time ago, I had a long talk with fellow forumite Lennox, and we found out I needed to pair it up with some other goodies....
Lennox dammaged my mind bad when we went for an overnight including lots of blades (INFI, non infi).....

Sooooooo, today I put my first order in at the Custom Shop (my wallet hates me so much right now).....

Old-school NMFBM is ordered, Satin full convex with black canvas micarta... WOOHOO,

LET'S DRINK!!!!!

Can't wait to get the confirmation from Lexi, and the wait is on,,,,,,,,,, (toture)......

Just hope the wife never see the invoice, lol.......
If so, I don't think I'll be alive to see the wait end, hahaha......

Yes Ragnerok, I was out with the kids making a fire today, and the TGLB got a good beating, can't stop loving that knife, just begs for more...

Dont have a TGLB, only handled it; very nice and well balanced they are. :thumbup:
 
My first Busse, but by far the best knife i have handled so far...
If we could get this meeting thing going some time you could beat on my TGLB some to see if the bug bites you too, lol...

I know what you mean... I ordered one from the Custom Shop too, she's ready, and am waiting for her to ship. :D
 
Yeah evltcat, the reason I ordered from the custom shop is that I wanted the old handles, not the straight one, it'll cost me more, but I think it will be worth it...
 
Yeah, that waiting time- part of the game that is. Have "several" Busses and Rats sent to the custom Shops, for mod. , before christmas that was- no complaines, part of the game that is. Worth waiting for. :D

I love the smell of NEW MICARTA in the morning.

Dont forget to order up some liners on that puppy! Adds a lot to the satin/micarta combo in my opinion. I got the same combo but with green liners.
 
Hmm al. I dont know, I dont have the biggest hands, and I've triid the magnum grips, they was to big for my liking.
Does the liners make the handels as big as the mags?

Talkin`customs and TGLB`s; As a Basic nut, i wanted a very spesial Basic and did ask Garth about a TGLB with a Basic handle.......The whole knife had to be made from an entierly new blank; $100 ea. inch of knife (incl handle)- My dream knife... still saving. ;)
 
Rgnerok, that would be too cool, go for it, it will cost, but just think about what a grail knifr that would be for the rest of the Busse collectors, woohoo..
 
Have to get myself some dinner now- local time is 22:24 and i only had beers so far (to celebrate the news from Jerry, regarding the B8). :p
