I just had to tell somebody about the stupid thing i did today. I stop by a local Goodwill store every now and then, looking for camping gear, old cast iron pans, etc. I temper my knives in the oven in the house right now, so I am always looking for a big toaster oven for the shop. I'm in there today and see this stainless Magic Chef "oven". It looks like an oven, glass window in the door, light inside, must be a toaster oven of some kind. $10.00 so i buy it. get it home, plug it in, fan runs but it doesn't get hot. SO i right down the model number, and hit Google.

I now know why it doesn't get hot:IT'S A WINE COOLER. OH WELL

Actually, the wife wants to keep it. Now i have to find somewhere in the house to keep it, but she's happy and that doesn't happen often for $10.00. :)

Great delivery... I lol'd.

Ales and IPAs are best served 45F to 55F... save the wine for degreasing your blades and dying leather.

If it makes you feel better, I once picked up what I thought was a sweet leather shop apron at someone's yard sale....... it turned out to be assless chaps. True story.
