i told myself after the CBZDP and s110v shallots i would be done buying any knives before 2009. i was on NGK picking up some of the newly released baliyos as presents for people and totally impulse bought a black ripcord. ive always been curious about it and before i knew what i'd done i hit submit order.

so much for my resolve.

obviously pics and a review will follow upon receipt.
 
Looking forward to a little review on this one Slade. I've always been kind of interested in the Ripcord, but have never pulled the trigger.
 
Me to jon. I open tons of boxes daily so I should be in a good position to evaluate the mechanism for release and return multiple times in a short period. Also it's edge retention on cardboard. Anyway. My resolve aside it should be a cool purchase.


Oh and btw the baliyos seem really cool. I know it's a spyderco design but I like to believe we at the kershaw forum don't bash other designers out of spite but can look through brand differences an appreciate unique design whomever comes up with it. I'll review those in the appropriate forum when the time comes :)
 
I got a Vertigo and Military recently kinda the same way...before I realized what happened they were in my gun safe. wth.
 
thanks j. but new archeological evidence discovered in egypt shows a dried up river bed full of composite ZDP blades made by ancient egyptians. i had to see for myself :)
