Yeah, I know I didn't need another BK2 but this one caught my eye. I gotta quit doing this or there will be no money for tweeners. *sigh*

Got this one from Gunknifenut and I think I saw somewhere that clich might have got his hands on it. He will probably wander in here and confirm one way or the other. Not sure what the reason for the swedge was unless in was for more detailed work. Thought it looked different and cool. It's been blued and I would really like to know where the micarta came from. It is really top notch. Finally got my damn jimping and even a spot for a ferro rod. This one slices through paper like butta. :)

Yup that was mine. Swedge was just because i felt like doing something outta the box and i wanted a more manageable tip. I was pretty happy with the results. The thing is crazy convexed so it should cut the legs off a table. Enjoy it. I apologize about the jimping, it was my very very first attempt and i didnt have a bench vise so the spacing is off a bit.

Nice job, I like the notch for the ferro rod and the swedge is a good idea, it should make it easy er to punch into a coconut husk or somthing like a melon to get it open. Well done.

Yeah I noticed that on the jimping. I think it gives it more character. You did a really good job evening it up on both sides and getting that nice contour on it. The more I look at it the more I like it. Now it's time to go pound down a tree or something.

I may dig out the light box and see if I can get some better pictures. It looks a lot better than the photo's I took.

I loved it to. It originally had rosewood Burl scales too. I couldn't bring myself to beat on it when it was so pretty so I traded with GKN. Now with the micarta on it it should make for a good workhorse for ya. Thanks for the compliments. I got a couple of becker mod projects going on right now for other members that are shaping up pretty nice as well. Its just a good platform for mods me thinks and it makes me seem more talented than I am lol :D

Dang I really love the looks of that thing, no no I need to horde for the tweener splurge coming, maaaaaaaybe I could fit another 2 in there. I need an intervention

Thanks guys. I think these two are going to make a great couple. After looking at the handles closely I am making a guess that they came from Saint Cutlery. They are well contoured and super grippy. I really like them a lot.
