How much does an electric razor cost? An expensive-looking kind with a leather pouch. Alice is lucky she didn't cut her mouth open! She chewed up everything BUT the blade. She also got into a few other things, but I think the razor was the worst. She normally sleeps in my bedroom, but we left her out for a while last night. I just found it this morning, in pieces on my living room floor. J left a few hours ago but will be back tonight. Should I call him on his cell and tell him, or should I wait until he gets back? I would go buy a new razor, but I have no idea what to get!

Can you snap a pic of what's left of the razor? We men might be able to tell you what kind it is, or should I say "was".

Treat your man good tonight!

I treat him VERY well every night. ;) I don't think he'll be angry, but I still feel like I need to make it up to him!

The camera I use is at work and I'm home today. Thanks for the idea though!

Don't just rush out and buy one. Guys can be pretty particular about the features they want in an electric razor: three round heads arranged in a triangle vs. two straight heads, type of batteries and indicators, etc. Best to let him pick ut out and you buy it for him.

There's gotta be some bits identifiable, a name plate or logo or something. Is it Norelco. Remington, Braun, Panasonic? Look for something with a model number.

You can look at websites for the aforementioned companies and see if you can recognize any parts.

Men fall into two categories: those who have found the perfect razor and could think of nothing else, and those who really aren't satisfied with their razor and would really like to try something else. Your man may actually be happy with the razor's fate as it will allow him to try something new. Replacing the razor immediately may not be a good idea.

As a stop-gap, have a good manual razor and some shave cream on hand when he returns. This will cost about $15.

You're taking the wrong approach to this situation! Make your BF feel guilty that his electric razor almost killed Alice and he should have been more careful where he left his overnight bag! Maybe you and Alice can get a 'free' steak & lobster dinner out of the deal. :D

Reccomendations: Gillette Mach III razor and Edge Gel (with Aloe).

Care to see how much he trusts you? See if he will let you shave him!

No worries - just get him another one. If he knows dogs he'll understand.

My dogs have always been famous for stuff like that. Just tell him it's because your dog likes him :)

Wait a few months and buy him an expensive electric razor (a Philishave) By that time the dog will only have about two minutes - once or twice a month - to scratch around in his stuff. ;)

I would replace any condoms that were in the bag...might have teeth holes in them

Wait, you`re giving up the golden arches and you`re concerned about his chewed up razor.
Bless your heart...

Some good advice! Thanks. He called earlier and I told him what happened. He acted like it was no big deal, which was good. I told him I'd buy him a new one and he sort of laughed it off. I guess Alice and I lucked out. Good thing he is easygoing!

Matches, nah, none to worry about. ;) Clydetz, your idea was the BEST! :D dig-it, I turn all girly sometimes when I'm with a guy I really like. I did his laundry yesterday too. :o

Go to some place like PETsMART and find a razor/clipper that Alice and him could share.

Many years ago, I had a Norelco electric razor, cordless. I'd always used electric, always Norelco. The battery easily went for a week between charges. So, when I was going on a business trip for about five days, I just charged it up and took the razor along, but left the charger at home. Somehow, in handling, it got turned on in my suitcase. The next morning, when I went to shave, I found it absolutely dead. In a panic, I went to a nearby drug store and bought a Sensor II and some shave cream. I don't think I ever did bothered charging that electric again.

ashes, from what i have read from you and the kind of person i see you as--don't worry about the razor--if i were him if wouldn't mean a dam thing to me
compared to having you  :)
