Oops Ntxt

Just saw that new movie with Boats. Really really cool. I wish there were more battles and scenes with antique firearms and blades, but then again it isnt Kill Bill... oh wait...

Yeah... Just ignore this thread. ;)

Probably another bear thread.

If it is another bear thread then I want to hear it. Otherwise, I think we should drag him in here and use our torture knives on him :D

No torture knives for me, I'm gonna lie in wait and hack off his feet. (THEN, feed them to the bears!)

Speaking of ducks, where has our resident foul, I mean fowl been? I haven't heard much saintly quacking on the forum lately.

ignoring thread...

can I put the word "convex" in here somewhere?

What I had been going to ask Bill, but decided that he and Yangdu had too much on their plates already. Then I was going to email tonight, but I decided against it as not being fair. So I'l ask you all instead. This is a cut and paste from the email I was going to send this evening.

I was looking through the faq trying to decide if I had to have the Gelbu special that was todays blem. I decided against it. But I have noticed in the past, and again in the descriptions that there seem to be some Kuhkri's that come with the hilt made differently. Instead of flairly at the pommel, like most they look like this one. Is this just a difference of the maker or is it significant to the style? Kobra Hilt

But thanks for the interest in my post; and keep your torture knives to yourself!

The middle one in the pic reminds me of my 19" villager ( sirupati style ). Actually, I don't care for the triple butt. If I get around to shortening the chipped wood under the buttcap on my 26" kobra, I'll replace it with an 1/8th or 3/16th or
even 1/4" thick cap with single tang.

Heck, I may get ambitious and try to make an inch thick semi sherpa imitation.
