Oops

I'm in it for the ally; it will either be in my car or clipped to the inside of my boot (western style). It looks to be the perfect little back-up blade. Why knives, what about them? Well utility is a given... after fire, a sharp edge has been most essential to human survival. I love the clean lines of a blade, the feeling of 'mechanical power' that is leant to my hand by such a simple tool. I scoff at those uppity cardboard boxes amazon traps my goodies in! Also, I train (MA) with wooden knives--and whether I am the attacker or the defender, there is a serious respect that comes with the handling of a blade... and it is a damn good thing that they are wooden in practice--I'd have no fingers left (or right!). But seriously; knives are part of our everyday lives... our kitchens would be tough places to get anything done without them... non-knife folks should just relax and realize that they too are knife folks like the rest of us. So, I like knives and use much like everyone else... well, maybe just a bit more...:rolleyes:
