Pics or it didn't happen. ;):D:p
Sorry to hear it- glad it wasn't worse.
We all have those moments when we know we should've known better.
Here's to a quick and complete recovery.

Do I need to drive up there and take away your knives untill you can behave yourself? :D

Good thing you didn't buy the JK Camp Cleaver.:D

Hope you have a quick recovery. BTW, chicks think scars are cool, unless your married, than your wife just thinks your a DA for cutting yourself.:D

Chicks definitely do dig scars. But they need to come with good stories. I'm not saying that you should lie or anything - just be creative.

Instead of saying "I gave it a little whack when I was batoning it and I mustn't have been paying attention because I cut myself", say "I was in a wilderness survival situation and I needed kindling to make a fire, and my knife was my only tool. I was using it to split logs under conditions of stress and fatigue, and was distracted for a split second." Then pause for a few seconds and show off the scar. Conclude with "Anyway, it was just a scratch, and I got the fire going. Waited until I got back to civilization to have it stitched up".

;)

Seriously though, glad it wasn't worse. Hope you recover quickly!

All the best,

- Mike

Obviously he needs a hatchet to go with his aniversary knife.:D

Not to hijack the thread but, I found this in my storage when I was home. It needed some attention so I got out some steelwool and mineral oil and...

... filleted my knuckle! It is sharp! My camera batteries were dead and I really had to get the blood stopped so no pics.

BTW, once again not to hijack but...
...if anyone knows who may have made this knife I'd love to know.
I bought it 10 years ago or so. It came in a Western knives sheath that it does not fit in and it has no markings whatsoever. Perhaps one of the resident makers made it?
