Oosik and monsterdamast

this knife is just finished by me the last days. the blade is made from a little piece ofthe big monsterdamastblock( 2 tons ) with 320 layers and a mix of two toolsteels and one nickelsteel. the handle is made from old Oosik and the blade is fixed with a srew and epoxi. the cap at the end is made from a mosaikdamast.

Is that by any chance the big block of damascus where Achim Wirtz was involved?

yes, it is from the block made by achim wirtz, norbert bahls and matthias zwissler.
