I see many posts about my questions but I admit, when it comes to screws I must be slow.

My Tenacious, Military and Adamas all have at least 1 stripped screw now. So I am determined to conquer each one by one.

I find that calling the manufacturer, though a good short term solution, doesn't provide me with a feeling of full control over my knife.i.e. screw strips again, ect.

So, as far as the spyerdeco tenacious, I am seeking measurements for the scale screws (Also, would be great for future reference to have size of pivot and clip screws as well.)

Perhaps working together we can fill in all the blanks?

Thank you much for your help.

p.s. I understand that the tenacious hardware isn't always predictable?

Spyerdeco Tenacious Scale Screw Measurements.
(Clip Screw and Pivot screw Measurements would be nice too.)

1. Please indicate Standard or Metric

2. Size - Thread:

3. Length:

4. Head style: (i.e. flat):

5. Drive style (torx/hex):

If you contact Spyderco Customer Service they will help you. They asked me to email a picture of both sides of my Tenacious with the blade open. 10 days later a full set of scale screws showed up in the mail—I only needed one. It’s easier than shopping/sourcing for them, even if you know the pitch, etc.

Also, if you already have a Tenacious, why on earth do you need to know if the screws are flat or hex vs torx? Can’t you just look at it for the answer?

Well. I read some posts where there was lack of clarity about this. Better to be thorough and get it right the first time, dont you think? I already outlined why contacting the manufacturer isn't preferable. Picking up the phone is a one time solution. But thanks for responding anyway.
