Olight just came out with an edc bolt action pen, and has an olight flashlight on top. I ordered one, couldn't resist. They call it the open2.

Got a free mini l1r2eos with the order even, stocking stuffer for Christmas.
 
I couldn’t resist either. Ordered one last week. The USPS in MARIETTA, GA currently has it.
 
There have been complaints about the refills being either DOA or running dry very quickly. Olight says they are sourcing replacement refills and anyone that ordered an Open will be able to order one at no cost. I’ve also saw postings saying Tthe Schmidt "mini 8126" refill fits the Open.
 
I looked at one the other day good feel to it . Heavy enough to use for self defense in a pinch

Doesnt suprise me about the ink, mine came with the refill in the pen with no cap even. To add, the refills are tiny, its a small pen without the light, so i would think they would not last long.

I got mine, its ok.....not a stellar pen, and an ok light. It does write nicely though, simular to a zebra gel 701. Olight could have done more with the light, no strobe mode or magnet, that should have been easy to incorporate. The pen bolt is gritty, and because its half way down the body your hand can get smudged ink on it easily.

I got it on sale, for the price its good, but at full price probably more of a deal breaker. I'll keep it and use it.
