How do I get rid of the "open in app/ install " banner that's displayed on my apple devices. I downloaded tapatalk and it even shows up on the app when I view the forum. What's up with this? It blocks the title block hyperlinks up on the top of the forum board.

I am bringing this one back up for another look. I have lately been using an ipod to browse and that darn banner across the top won't go away. Any way to get rid of it?

I have the same issue, I view the forum through an iPhone mainly. The "x" at the top of the banner does not work for me. Not a huge issue, more of a minor annoyance than anything else. Curious as to how to disable it.

I'd like to know how to get rid of it too. It only appears on my iPhone, not my iPad.

I have the problem using an iPad. On other forums that I visit the x works fine - Bladeforums is the only exception.

Thanks for the picture. It looks like you are using the "private" browsing feature, as well as an older iOS version.

Strange, I "X" out of that banner every time it appears.
Still seeing those ridiculous Yahoo adds in TapaTalk though.

Guessing here: if you previously installed Tapatalk, that's what it's trying to flag? Setup to default? If you don't USE Tapatalk (and I don't), delete that app.

I went to Samsung for mobiles because of my dislike for IOS. :)

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. For the record, I have never installed or used the Tapatalk app. This only happens on my Ipod, never my ipad. On rare occasions the X will close the banner, but mostly it will not. The ipod is running ios 6.1.6., the ipad 5.1.1 (yes, it is an old one but works too good to replace...yet). I don't think I am set for private browsing, though I'm not sure what you mean by that exactly. I am not in "invisible" mode at any rate.
