opening a thread locked by a mod...

I was able to open a thread that I started and that was eventually locked by a moderator. Should this be possible or is it a bug in the system? I would think that if the thread was closed by a mod, it was done so for a reason, and not even the thread starter should be able to open it. Just a heads up.

I don't think it is a glitch. If the mod closed it for good cause then reopening it might not be a good idea. If the mod closed it because it had deteriorated but the original poster wanted to make a parting comment then that's OK.
