Are there any seem heads out there excited about opening day! Despite baseball's downfalls I really enjoy baseball. If there are any fans out there who still like baseball give a shout-out to your team!

Rockies fan here--but can't stand management!

I hate the Yankees and the Red Sox!:barf:

Let's get it started...

you trying to start a war here :p I'm not a hug baseball fan myself but I have no favorite team to like not even a local team anymore

I thought for sure more yankees and redsox fans would chime in. I like the A's too they were my team as a kid. They are notorious for developing talent inhouse then trading off-a model which the rockies have adopted-thus my discontent.

Big baseball fan here... always have been.

The games gone through some rought times lately, but in the past several years I've noticed a lot of kinds playing in the big leagues that are just happy to be there and play for all the right reasons. It's fun to watch again.

Go Braves!

Lifelong Red Sox fan. I'm from New Haven CT, which is right on the dividing line between Boston and New York fandom, so it runs about 50-50 there. My wife and daughter are both Yankee fans. I enjoy the rivalry, but I also like to see the Yankees make the playoffs. Since Yankee Stadium is only about 65 miles from where I lived and Fenway Park is about 130 miles, I have gone to a lot more Yankee games than Red Sox.

We just purchased the MLB package for cable TV the other day, so we can watch up to 14 games at a time. :D When the Yankees and Red Sox play head to head, we do it right with hot dogs and pretzels and beer. I sure do miss those Yankee stadium knishes though.

Blue Jays fan here. They look good this year to compete with and hopefully destroy the yanks and the sox.

I got the MLB package too and love it! Beer and dogs can't go wrong with that! Welcome to bladeforums Hunter John! Blue Jays seem to have some good hitting power on that the team. Marcum is not a bad pitcher either!

All I can say is go cardinals!!!!!!!!!!! Beat the rockies!!!!!!!! get off to a good start. At least we both hate the red sox.

Indians fan here. Son is a Tigers fan. Both did well last year. Grew up as a Yanky fan in the 50's.

Another Blue Jays fan. We handled Wakefield and the Red Sox tonight, only took one out of three in Yankee Stadium but they were tight, tough games. We'll give those two teams a run for it this year. It's the toughest division in baseball so winning the east would be a major triumph. I like our chances.

Indianapolis Indians AAA.

Love triple A ball, the players seem to play for the love of the game, something the major league players seem to have lost, front row seats behind the dugout can be had for under 30 bucks for a pair of tickets and they have Indiana Amber at Victory Field...what more could ya want!

Thanks for clueing me in about the Indianapolis Indians. Are they a Cleveland farm team?
Our closest Triple-A team is in Syracuse which is a bit of a hike, although the prospect of seeing a game for under $200 is appealing.

Not too gloat too much Red Sox fans (I know your guys had a long, hard road trip) but the Jays swept them outta town. Toronto sitting at 4-2 so far, right behind the Orioles at 4-1 (that won't last).

No, Cleveland Indians triple A is the Buffalo Bison. The announcers talk about it all the time. I am a huge Cleveland Indians fan. And the ppl that are like me are the smartest in the world because at least they all love the Game unlike most teams who are just there for the money. And by the way look at a lot of the good players, what were they? Former Indians :p. I too have been a big baseball fan as long as i can remember and I'm only 16. GO TRIBE (and it'll always be The Jake to me.) <Indians fans'll understand that. :D

Jes Clark (girl so everone knows; i've been mixed up before)
