Finally! Buying this knife at the end of the season last year stunk! It made up for it today...

Works wonderfully!

I've been loving the Stretch and with it's great blade shape I got curious...what do ya know- it does a wonderful job cleaning fish too! I'm loving this knife even more!

I have a happy 8 year old and it was great for me to go cast too. My little guy is doing wonderfully casting and playing the fish. :D

And he caught the bigger fish! :grumpy: ;) :D

Nice mess of fish there! Days like that will be remembered forever.

Cool pictures, glad to see the kid having fun. Not so much fun for the fish though.

Thanks all...I've had cabin fever after this endless winter- being outside is sweet!

Can't help but keep thinking of the Stretch...such a versatile design- why I waited so long to buy one I do not know!

How do they compare to your Weiner...Dog?

Lol! different knives all...but those 1st 2" on the Smith is skinny and made for these fish. the wiener dog is stouter, lops off tails and heads more easily but it still a laser and cuts like crazy. I just tried the stretch on a whim, but figured that upswept tip would function nice...and it did. I think Sals just a freaking genius!

And the aftermath...

Cooked on the grill with bit of salt, pepper, butter, lemon and italian seasonings...yummm....
