Opera 10.5 is FAST!

I've been using Opera since at least 2003 and have no desire to use anything else. I haven't downloaded the 10.5 beta yet, but I think I'll do that now and see what it's like (I'm using 10.1).

I use it often (like now, for example) and like it a lot.

It's still not fully compatible with certain websites, though. (Amazon.com is one of them.)

I've never noticed a problem with Amazon. It doesn't seem to like the navigation system of Spyderco's website and older versions of Opera wouldn't display Benchmade's site correctly.

I'm running IE8 and Opera 10.1 right now, one on each screen. Might have to download Opera 10.5 and try it out on the other computer. Used Opera on BeOS back in the 90's and started using it again under Windows back in 2005 or 2006. Still run IE but I do Tons on Opera also. Thanks for the heads up about 10.5

I've been using Opera on one of my older computers for awhile now. Everything else is much slower. However, I've noticed that on faster, multicore computers (like Core 2 Duo), Chrome blows it away. So I use Chrome on my new machines and Opera on the old. Opera's a great browser, very snappy and responsive, but it's not perfect on some websites like Spyderco.com...

That is interesting about Chrome doing better with higher end cpu, hope that Chrome will eventually get the new JavaScript that Opera 10.5 is using, that would be awesome :)

On Amazon, it doesn't work properly with Recommendations. More specifically, "Fix this Recommendation".

Also, it's not operational with www.usps.com and some other sites.

But it keeps improving with every upgrade, and it's a heck of a lot of fun to use.
Reminds me of a fast little sports car.
