During the past several days I have had the pleasure of receiving many calls and e-mails from fellow Suspects.
I have spoken with Don Rearic at length recently.
I spoke with Oliver for at least an hour last night.
I just completed two seperate calls with John Hollister this afternoon.
I've been exchanging e-mail regularly with Seth, Donald, Chris, Don D.,Hilton, and many others.

Bottom line? There are no better people than Suspects.

Therefore I am going to compile a database on my site consisting of contact info for any Suspects who wish to participate in this program.

All Suspects who opt to participate will receive an e-mail notice containing a link to the database AND a password to enter it. The only way to obtain the password is to submit your contact info. Your contact info can consist of anything that you wish; E-mail, home phone number, cell phone, pager, etc., preferably all of the above.

The world is changing and becoming more dangerous, Suspects. But we can rely upon and network with one another for such things as information, custom Emersons for sale, quality gear, friendship, and beyond. These are trying times, but combined we have all the makings of an excellent intelligence and support network amongst us. We have many talents and connections within our family. Let's utilize them for the benefit of all Suspects to share as one.

Perhaps you're looking for a specific blade, or specific piece of gear at a great price; enlist the help of the OSN. Perhaps an act of terrorism has just been inflicted upon your area and you wish to give fellow Suspects a heads-up. Contact the OSN. Perhaps you're just feeling that the world is going to hell, and you need the support and encouragement of a fellow Suspect to get you back on track with friendship and encouragement. Contact the OSN.

The OSN site will also have an extensive gallery and review site. If you obtain a piece of gear that impresses you, or take pics of gear that you wish to share, you will be able to easily post it in order to share with other Suspects.

Operation Suspect Network. OSN. Suspects are global. There will always be a friend to help.

If you would like to participate in the OSN program, please e-mail your contact info to me and I will begin creating this database. Once the database is complete (within 2 weeks), I will e-mail the link and password to all participating Suspects. I will also assume responsibility for updating it whenever anyone's contact info changes. Updates will be current within 24 hours of submission.

None of the OSN info will be public. This will all be very privileged and protected information.

Stay safe, guys, and keep in touch with one another.

During the months ahead, you will begin to see the entire website emerge as an electronic magazine for Usual Suspects. I will create pages for Suspects to post reviews of their latest gear, a forum unto itself, a heads-up section with whom ever has the best prices on the most coveted new blades, a page that follows the latest geo-political scene AS it applies to Suspects, and the overall safety of Suspects. Stay tuned, guys. Submit your contact info. We can survive these trying times by helping each other to survive.
The object is to keep this project honest, useful, and informative for those involved. This is a purely non-profit venture.

To me, Suspects are truly tactical people who believe in the power of friendship, and the support of other Suspects in need. We have much to teach one another. This operation is intended to better all of us as one.

By the way, as you submit your contact info, please be sure to include both your BladeForums screen name AND your real first name in case another Suspect ever needs to contact you for any reason.

Wow! Responses are already streaming in. Guys, as you submit your contact info to me, please also post here that you have done so. I think that it's probably a very good thing for potential others to see just how many Suspects are interested in becoming a part of this. Thanks!

Within the last 30 minutes alone I have received contact info from seven Suspects, and all seem very enthusiastic about making this collective action take place.

I'd like my objectives here to be crystal clear. Suspects are very like-minded individuals. We are all from different races, cultures, and locations, and that is great! We are diverse. We have many different perspectives. Perhaps our greatest strengths of all are our individual tactical experiences, views, and techniques. Many of us have obtained extensive tactical training. Many of us has vast assortments of gear that we have chosen based upon our own individual needs, tastes, and experiences. Many of us have prominant contacts within the tactical realm. But collectivity is the key here.

All of the above attributes collide into one fundamental although necessary attribute for todays geo-political scene; the ability to survive.

And we can do this as ONE.

Let's learn from each other. Let's not allow anything to bring out attitudes down. Let's support one another.

I've received several e-mails from those who ask something to the effect of "I'm probably not a Suspect, but I'd like to be. Can I be involved in this?" Well, maybe it takes more affirmative Suspect action than mine alone, but it's my understanding that it doesn't take Custom ownership in order to become a Suspect. It merely takes enthusiasm for Emerson products, and the Suspect mentality, which I feel is genuine kindness towards other Suspects, and a sincere tactical interest in life and all that is right and good.

At least that's my take. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me here. :)
 
This is such a great idea and I think a database of Unusual Suspects would be very beneficial to the whole Knife Community! :D I suggests all suspects join in on this great opportunity.

you have been Pillar of 'Suspect' mentality.

Your generousity without question, friendship without borders , is what is needed and expected of all Suspects.

We are living in a changing world were genuine friendship is treated with suspicion. But there is no better time than the present to create lasting bonds of mutual respect and genuine friendship without question.

Suspects are different....we have shown that in the last two years with our thoughs and deeds.
