My friend and I went to Opie and Anthony's traveling virus in Worcester last night. It was an incredible show. They're hosting an event featuring such great comedians as:

Rich Vos
Bill Burr
Robert Kelly
Patrice O'Neal
Jim Norton (his set is unbelievable)
Bob Saget
Tracy Morgan
Ralphie May

All told, the event went from roughly 7 to 11:15, and it was definitely worth the $46 for tickets. I highly recommend this to any Opie and Anthony fans, as there is a lot of show-exclusive humor (someone who wasn't a fan would still have a great time, though). Even better was that Opie and Anthony signed autographs and took pictures with people at the end of the show. I got my t-shirt autographed by Opie, Anthony, Bill Burr, Rich Vos, and Jim Norton, and they were very cool to the fans.

There are more showdates coming up

August 26th, Holmdel, NJ - PNC Bank Arts Center:

I'm still a little depressed because my camera phone picture of me with Anthony got accidentally deleted :( Maybe I can find a way to retrieve them, but if not, at least I got the autographs :D

They took over for Diamond Dave, right? In DC and Baltimore, the morning drive show is still the Junkies, and I'm a big fan of theirs, but I'd like to hear O and A on streaming audio. If they're Infinity guys now, do they offer podcasts, etc?

Diamond Dave was actually hired to replace Stern when he was hired by Sirius. CBS/KROC only gave him three months, and he was actually putting together a nice little show when Les Moonves got paranoid and pulled him (under the guise of Roth balking at CBS taking creative control of his show). A GOOD performer like Roth needs at least 18 months to build a following.

O&A were hired by XM and were a $1.99 per month premium program (Stern is included with Sirius). An 'abridged' form of their live show now appears on CBS terrestrial affiliates, three and a half years after Infinity Broadcasting fired them for an infamous sex stunt the conducted in St. Patricks Cathedral on Manhattan. XM (if I am not mistaken) has suspended the premium subscribers have to pay to listen to O&A.

They stream the live show, but don't offer pod casts of the free show. Here's their flag-ship station: 923freefm.com .

I'm not really a fan of O&A but I love me some Jim Norton and Ralphie May and I can just about spit on Camden ( and it deserves it! ).

I just might have to check that out.
