These don't seem mentioned too often. Got it recently because it was atypical for a Opinel: spearpoint Inox blade, stubby curved handle. It was even lower priced than other comparable locking Opis.
Typical Beechwood handle with the thin satin finish. The shape is quite nice, similar to the way lots of Opinel enthusiasts reshape theirs. It does feel nice in the hand. The blade shape seems quite unique for modern Opinels. I'd have expected a "garden" knife to have perhaps a sheepsfoot or hawkbill blade, but this one is much more pointy. And what a point. Cut myself almost immediately! Blade and lock are still stiff. This knife will be quite sweet when it's broken in. It occurrs to me that this would be a good model for customizing, either as a starting point, or as a source for parts.
